When teatime meets the moonshine.
At times eerily dark and sometimes blindingly light, the project known as Brother Hill and the Healers crafts and drafts its unique folk presence from a plethora of original and traditional sources. A sound as at home across the north Atlantic as it is in the hollers of the Appalachians.
Experience an original sound that is every bit as reminiscent of Radiohead as it is of Leadbelly with the combinations of Brett Hill’s original lyrics & melodies, guitar & Irish bodhran, with Knuckles’ raging dark banjo, the Reverend’s lively-while-somber fiddling, Old Dutch’s cornerstone upright bass, and Ben Kain Stewart’s charging vocal harmonies & guitar.
