One year ago, our neighbor Pete, who lives “down the holler” from us on Armitage Road, called to let us know we could come pick some peaches for brewing if we were so inclined. His white peaches, in addition to some yellow peaches picked at another secret forage spot, went into a couple oak barrels that were souring up pretty nicely. Those two barrels, plus a bourbon barrel full of sour red aging on apricot puree, made up this one-time blend.
