Two Seatings: 5:40 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
Amateur and professional chefs are invited to enter their favorite
recipes that incorpoate Ohio microbrews in the categories:
- Appetizer
- Entree/Main Dish
- Side Dish
- Dessert
- Vegetarian Entree
Entrants will present and serve their dishes to the judges, and
then make available tasting size portions to the public. Seating
is limited for this endless array of fine beer-flavored foods.
Ribbons and medallions will be awarded in all categories (see registration
materials for full details.).
Proceeds from the Ohio Brew Week Microbrew Cooking Competition will
benefit the Jon Sparhawk Memorial Scholarsip & Community Fund.
Judging criteria will be based on flavor, texture, appearance
and creativity. A Grand Prize will be awarded as well as 2nd through
3rd place winner prizes.
Prizes include:
Cooking utensils, knife sets, elegant serving platters, entertaining
sets.
Pro & Semi-Pro categories: a Complete Chef’s outfit,
head-to-toe Chef’s Originals.

of regional chefs. Check website for information on second seating
at 7:45 p.m. if there are enough entries. Tickets: $25/per person.
